York College goes E-Class

Solved.IT have today announced that York College have awarded Solved.IT the contract to design and supply their firewall infrastructure and secure remote access gateway.

Using the award winning SonicWALL E-Class range, Solved.IT will be replacing existing Cisco firewall technology that couldn't support the student growth at York.

IT Manager Azhar Iqbal chose the SonicWALL solution due the power, simplicity and functionality demonstrated by Solved.IT at previous meetings.

Double secure remote access gateways have been installed utilising network load balancing built into the SonicWALL firewalls.

Various new zones will be created to ensure safety of staff, students and guests.
