SonicWALL SonicPoint and Sonos Controller on iPad

28th July 2011

A few of my clients have been telling me that they would love to see SonicWALL SonicPoints being managed by their SonicWALLs and have solutions such as Sonos running.  When I questioned them as to why they can't, they were telling me that under no circumstances could they get this working because SonicWALL won't allow uPnP.  When I told them that I have had it running in my house for a long time they looked at me very confused - I don't think they believe me!

So here is a little video 'proving' it works - okay you can argue that its not really working and I am just showing a SonicPoint and a Sonos system working so you'll have to take my word on it.  In a later blog I am going to show you how I do it.
